The company carries out its community projects through the JSW Foundation, aiming to bring lasting positive changes to communities affected by its operations.
Simple and Effective Community Projects
JSW Steel follows the principle of ‘Better Every Day’ and manages its community activities through the JSW Foundation. The foundation uses a clear and effective approach called SAMMS Strategic, Aligned, Multi-stakeholder, Measurable, Sustainable to make sure its projects work well and suit the local needs. In the last six years, JSW Steel has steadily increased the money it spends on these community projects. For the fiscal year 2022-23, the company spent ₹243 crore on community activities and saved an additional ₹48 crore for future projects.
